‘It’s my way or the highway’….+ Good business, now for some buying please!!

Good Morning Gooners!!

It was quite an eventful evening yesterday. Kolo Toure passed a medical and was unveiled as a ManCity player while Arsenal won their pre-season fixture against Hannover (1-0).

So Kolo is out and going by the events at the end of the Hannover game it looks like Eboue is also on his way out too. Say what you like about Wenger but you got to applaud the man for one thing. The players allowed to leave this season are the ones which were causing problems in the dressing room and unhappy about something or the other. While ‘you know who’ was a bad influence in the dressing room, Kolo was not getting along with our best defender Gallas and Eboue was unhappy at not being in the starting line up often. So Wenger has made it clear that ‘Its my way or the highway’.

But having said that it’s time for Wenger to actually make a statement to the other clubs as well. It’s about time we spent some money and bought quality players. I remeber Wenger saying “We have 7 CB’s in the team ….”etc. Mr Wenger its quality and not quantity that matters(I wouldn’t even count Silvestre as a CB). Now that we have money to spend and we could get a couple of good players in before the season starts.I hope he does or it will be another disappointing season at The Emirates.

About the game last evening. It was a quite comfartable 1-0 win for the team. Fabregas’ goal scoring return the only highlight of the game. The squad returns to london today and will be gearing up for the Emirates Cup which will be a sterner test for the team and Wenger. Also expect some activity in the transfer market since the squad is back in London and have had the much needed boost in bank balance.

Before i sign off, a word on PV and rumours about Wenger trying to bring him to Arsenal. Well if Schumacher can return to F1 to help his team Ferrari …Why can’t Vieira return to help us…!! Even if its a way to stop him from going to Sp*ds i think it would be a good deal for the club. Like i said in one of my earlier posts PV still has a few years left in him and would be great for the development of Song,Diaby and Denilson. He might not be the same player he once was but his experience would help the team on and off the field.

On that though..I sign off…More as an when something interesting crops up…

Till then..

Cheers and Keep Gunning!

How about some ‘Brede’?..It’s Shopping time for AW.

Good Morning Gooners!!

Don’t know Why but I am feeling fairly upbeat today, which is rare for an Arsenal fan during the summer transfer window. Maybe because of the fact that Wenger would be more active in the transfer market after Kolo leaves. Well I am still not sure Why…

So our last remaining player from the Invincible season is about the leave us. There’s no doubt that Kolo has given his best years to the club and been a great player for Arsenal. He may not have the pace he once had but still has a few more years left in him. Many fans thought, come what may Kolo will always remain an Arsenal player but as they say “in football nothing is permanent”. I think issues like the bust up with Gallas and not being given the captaincy has affected his performances and it would not be madness to sell him. He will always have the love and support of the Arsenal faithful unlike his soon to be team mate ‘you know who’. The £14m-£16m fee being rumoured is a good deal for us and the player himself, considering he will double his wages at Man City. I’m not entirely pleased about us selling our players within the same league but ManCity are the only club shelling out silly money for players so it leaves us with very few options. So then it’s Farewell Kolo, Good Luck and Goodbye. I will, and I am sure most of the fans will, miss him but life moves on.

How about Hangeland as a replacement? According to his wiki profile .. ..Hangeland plays as a central defender. The tall Norwegian with his characteristic calm nature is known for combining great aerial ability and physical strength with elegant technique and passing ability…  Surely something we need. Right??

Now that we have some-thing in the range of £37m-£40m from the sale of two players it leaves us in a good position to buy the players we need. It would be stupid to assume that Wenger will not bring in a new player because a) We already lacked depth in our squad and are now 2 more players short b)Pre-season fixtures have made Wenger (and everyone ) realize we are still short in 1-2 areas. We know Wenger likes to take his time with transfers, which is not always good, but we have got to give the man some time. I agree that most fans (including me) have been a bit critical about his transfer activities but I think it’s about to change soon. I am 100% sure Wenger has something up his sleeve and is just waiting for the money to be transferred before he makes his move. I think we’ll have atleast one more exit before the season starts which could be either Eboue or Big Phill.

Is Wenger ready to ‘pull a rabbit outta the hat’ ?

Who could the so called ‘rabbit’ be from Wenger’s Hat? Few names floating around are Huntelaar, Zapata,Hangeland ,Cattermole,Vucinic ,De-Rossi.  Or another ‘Wenger like’ signing ? I’d want at least two players from that list… But again I am not the one in-charge at Arsenal. Not sure How much Wenger would actually want to spend because a certain chunk of the money received will go towards Interest/debt payments. But I think we could very well manage 2 good players in £30m and still have around £10m in the bank. A DM and CB tops the list since we are still short in those areas and sorry to say but Denilson/Diaby/Song are not the solution to our DM problems. They might still step up and surprise everyone but we really can’t wait and watch this season. I think after a run out in Austria Wenger knows what exactly he needs and we might (finally) see some activity. Just wait and watch.

Till then…

Cheers and Keep Gunning!

Pre-season + ‘Ins & Outs’ + Vermaelen…

Dudu fires as Nikki continues fine form…

Szombatheyli 0-  5 Arsenal

Goals:

Bendtner (17) & (44)

Eduardo (24) & (39)

Van Persie (66)(p)

Eduardo and Nikki B each bagged a brace as Arsenal beat Szombatheyli, 5-0 in their pre-season fixture. With rumours about Kolo Toure on his way to Manchester City already, it was pleasing for some fans to see the Ivorian in the starting XI.Eduardo also returned to the starting line-up clearing all doubts regarding his fitness. Young Italian Vito Manone started in goal in place of Manuel Almunia for the 1st half. Arsenal were not at their best in the opening minutes but soon found their goal scoring touch when Bendtner nodded home a precise Traore cross to put the visitors ahead. Eduardo then scored in the 24th minute showing just how clinical he can be in front of goal. Dudu then scored from a free kick and Nikki added his second as Arsenal turned the screws on their opponents. The score at half time read a flattering 4-0 to the visitors. As expected, a number of changes were made at half time with RVP and Arshavin coming on to add more firepower. Unfortunately there were not many goals in the second half but RVP did score from the spot to seal off a comfortable win. Arsenal thus continued their good pre-season form with Nicklas Bendtner surely raising expectations in the coming season. With Nikki B re-iterating his desire to stay at Arsenal I think he’s ready to step up and be counted this term. Cheers to the Gunners!

Although a sterner test awaits the Gunners in the Emirates Cup, which will be their last opportunity to get some match fitness and form before the season. Ramsey, Diaby, Nicklas Bendtner have all shown good form and I am sure they will have a greater role to play once the season begins and as Arsenal look to end the trophy drought.  With Arsenal not yet done with their transfer dealings it remains to be seen which players will feature in the Emirates Cup but the players sure to be playing a part are Fabregas, Theo and Rosicky which will surely make it all the more interesting.

Ins and Outs

The rumoured ‘Outs’ are Toure and Eboue  with Toure looking increasingly likely to leave this week. There’s nothing official yet but the rumours circulating are surely indicating that. On the other hand the ‘Ins’  would be appealing to the fans as Arsenal are hunting for Huntelaar. Not a word on it by Wenger as usual but it is still something to look forward to in the transfer market. As happy as I am for Eduardo’s return and form I still want Wenger to invest in a striker. Although going by the look of things, ie Nikki B , Dudu and RVP’s form in pre-season and also having Arshavin and Vela to fill in as a striker I just think Wenger might be tempted not to spend on one. If not I hope he does on  a DM and a CB (if Toure leaves). Cattermole is being touted as a possible signing which could be worth the shot. Although I am not a fan of having another not-so experienced midfielder coming in.

“I can be good in the EPL”

Thomas Vermaelen thinks that he can really be a hit in the English game. Even though critics and Arsenal great Tony Adams have said that Thomas lacks the height to make it. Going by his words I think Arsenal have found the answer to their defensive problems.

“I’m not so tall, I know. So you have to be good at reading the game. But I think my heading game is good. I have a good jump and that’s positive if you are a centre-back. On the field its very important to be smart and thinking all the time. I will always give 100percent whether in games or training. In terms of attributes, I think I am decent in the air and technically, and I always want to battle on the pitch.”

Wise words from a wise man. Looking forward to seeing more of our new signing.

Till then…

Quick ‘Arsenal’ shot

Good Morning Gooners

Today’s post is going to be short .I have a lot of pending work and my boss is getting frustrated because of the delay. My colleague here in the office did tell me to skip today’s post and concentrate on the work but I can’t really begin the day without my ‘Arsenal dose’. So here’s a quick one.

Toure is ‘Gunner’ go??

With the cry baby stating his intentions to stay at Chelsea, atleast for the time being, it might not be a surprise if Mark Hughes now concentrates all his attention to securing Kolo Toure. The longest serving Arsenal player in the current team has fallen behind in the pecking order and also doesn’t seem to have a good relation with Gallas. Although there is no question about Kolo’s ability as a defender he has come under fire from certain fans for his lack luster performances in the last campaign. With ManCity’s unofficial spokeperson (Ade) pleading Toure to join the club it looks likely that Kolo would prefer a heavy paycheck than spend time on the sidelines at Arsenal. Although Kolo’s brother Yaya did say that his brother would never swap Arsenal for a club not in the champions league we all know it doesn’t matter in today’s world where Money does all the talking.

So as long as we get in a no-nonsense defender, extremely good in air and does not have a bad attitude, I would be happy.  Hangeland or Zapata could be a good replacement if indeed Toure leaves.

Hunting for Huntelaar or Eyeing Vucinic

Either rumour is pleasing for an Arsenal fan. Huntelaar and Vucinic are both proven top class strikers and any one of the two would be a good replacement for ‘you know who’. Both are clinical, hard working and good in air. It all comes down to how much the Wenger is willing to pay . The two are valued at around the same price £16m-£18m. Although Kalou is also among the news and fits Wenger’s definition of a player I would prefer one of the above mentioned to come in.Who would you prefer in an Arsenal shirt??

How ‘Cana’ you miss Wenger??

I still can’t understand how we missed out on Cana. Wenger was surely on the lookout for a DM which was made clear by the pursuit of Melo. But if Melo was expensive… What about Cana? Although not aggressive and robust like Melo, Cana was equally experienced and had the making of a good player. For £5m I think he was worth the shot. So if reports are to be believed Wenger wants Lee Cattermole. I hope not. Since the last thing we want is another 21-22year old midfielder. I don’t see him being any better than Denilson and if I remember correctly our reserves did run over Wigan Athletic in the Carling cup game. This is one rumour which I hope turns out to be utter rubbish. I’d suggest not buying a DM if Cattermole is the only option available. Let’s give Diaby ,Song and Denilson a good run and see.

Thoughts on PV…

Lastly some thoughts on Patrick Vieira’s rumoured move to Sp*rs. I would be hurt to see him sign for them knowing how much the fans hate those spuds but i think Vieira has done enough for us and earned the right to do whatever he wants. He played over 400 gams for us, captained the team to glory and also played his heart out when on the pitch. So i don’t think the fans should hate him if he does move to the lane. What say??..

With Toure likely to leave and Eboue also not sure about staying we would have enough money ( + money from the transfer of ‘you know who’) to buy 2-3 good players. I don’t expect any action in the transfer market till the team returns from Austria so we still have to continue the wait.In other news some guy called Moshiri guy who happens to be Usmanov’s close aide has come out and blasted  the board for rejecting the rights proposal and sale of ‘you know who’. His statements were in a way true but i prefer the directors or the real men incharge to do the talking instead of some random guy speaking out. Also Arsenal play a friendly against Szombla..blah blah (check Arsenal.com for the name.. )  today. You can follow updates from that game on my twitter. Next is the Emirates cup which will give us a better indication of our preparations.

So till then …

Cheers and Keep Gunning!

A Tale Of 3 Ivorians

July 26, 2009 2 comments

Over the past couple of days 3 Ivorians in London have been among the news/rumours/gossip. Two of the three were once part of Arsenal’s back 4.

It’s not a surprise seeing Kolo linked to Man’sheikh’ster City. After submitting a transfer request in the January transfer window, Toure’s future at Arsenal has been quite uncertain. Toure, a member of Arsenal’s Invincible team, was thought to be an obvious choice for captain after Gallas but Fab was Arsene’s choice for the role which is sure to have hurt the Ivorian.  Also Toure has since then not been a regular starter having fallen in the pecking order. With rumours about a bust up between Willy G and Toure it was speculated that one of the two would leave come summer. Toure looks the one more likely to leave. But Is Wenger ready to sell one his most experienced and (at one time) most consistent performer? I’m not sure. Toure is reportedly a target of Mark Hughes who has now shifted attention to his back 4 after signing almost half the strikers in the world. It would be sad to see him leave but if the guy doesn’t want to play for us anymore I wouldn’t want him to stay.

Another Ivorian being linked away from Arsenal is our very own, loved and sometimes ‘booed’ Emanuel Eboue. Like his compatriot Toure, Eboue has not been Wenger’s first choice since the arrival of Bacary Sagna.Although he has started a number of games as RM and he did go on a surprising goal scoring run last season but apart from that there’s not much to talk about him. Prandelli (Fiorentina’s Coach) was quoted as saying

“Eboue is a very important player, He is a world class player. In attack he is second to very few players in his role.”

World class player ?? Is he talking about the same Eboue we know?? Sorry about that..but his antics, goal celebrations (which are rare), are certainly world class. Agreed that he is one the most versatile players at Arsenal and is surely a kind of utility player every team needs but I wouldn’t mind see him leave. Anything above £6m for Eboue and I think Wenger would take that and hope to use it to add some more steel at the back. He is a decent player but nothing more than that. We need more than decent players to win the championship.

And the 3rd Ivorian in news is Saloman Kalou. Wenger has been an admirer of the 23 year old for quite some time now. After accepting that he tried to sign him from Chelsea a year back, it’s not a surprise that the striker is back on Wenger’s radar especially after the sale of ‘you know who’ and the injury to Nasri. Kalou( who btw has the same agent as RVP) can play on either wings and also as an out and out striker. Also the striker fits well in Wenger’s budget costing around £9m.But as we know transfers between Chelsea and Arsenal are quite complicated and it could take some time to materialize if indeed the rumours are true. I would love to see Wenger go hunting for Huntelaar but on second thoughts Kalou wouldn’t be a bad deal.

In other news, PV4 has been linked to Spurs. Not ‘Breaking News’ since it’s been doing the rounds for quite some time now. I would hate to see our former captain play for the spuds. A request from me and a number of my Arsenal crazy friends here to Wenger .  Get PV back..He still has a few years left in him and would be the perfect example for Denilson and Song. Also you wouldn’t have to spend over the odds for him so why not get him in…The fans will love him surely.  What do you think?? Have your say….

I hope Wenger is listening and also hoping for some positive activity (which means not selling players) in the transfer market. Just to add to all that.. Arsenal play a friendly against Szomb.. blah blah blah (Cmon..It’s a difficult name) on Monday. Don’t forget to catch updates from that game on my twitter.

Cheers and Keep Gunning!!  🙂

About a legend and two jerks….

July 24, 2009 2 comments

As the silly summer transfer market continues, it’s not just the ridiculous rumours which keep football fans interested but also stars giving interviews and speaking about their life and the club. With not much going on in the transfer market for us fans, I’ll talk about some stuff said about Arsenal in the past 2-3 days.

What is common between Thierry Henry, Ashley Cole and Adebayor?? Well just the fact that they all played for Arsenal..Nothing else..

They are miles apart in class, ability, common sense and attitude. A reason why Thierry Henry is the greatest Arsenal player and still missed by the team and fans is quite simple. No, it’s not just because he is our all time top scorer. Read this..

Henry speaking about Arsenal…

It’s not going to be easy without Adebayor, obviously, and what happened with Nasri was unlucky, but I still believe they can win the League,That is always my feeling about my old club. It won’t be easy because there are teams who are doing it every time, but you never know. “I remember when I left everyone was saying it wouldn’t be the same, but they ended up having a great season and nearly won the League.”It can happen this year. I know everybody is saying this and that but in my heart I will always talk like that. Arsene and Arsenal have proven so many times they can win withoutspending a lot of money,People talk about the top four but the only thing that matters to me is who is going to be top and I know that’s how Arsene sees it as well.”

Adebayor had to say this.…

The way the fans behaved towards me was not nice at all. I can’t understand why they were after me. I did my best for them and I was very happy there.I scored 30 goals in a season – it’s not my fault that Milan, Barcelona or Real Madrid wanted to sign me. In any summer, Barcelona try to sign Cesc Fabregas. But the fans never turned on him.”

And Cashley Cole also opened his trap to talk about  ManCity and Arsenal..

It’s going to be hard for them [ManCity] but they could do it,The players they’re buying are good and they might gel, click straight away and it’s magic. But you can’t really say until we see them play.I hope they do because I have friends there.“I hope they do really well and finish above Arsenal.”

Now If Adebayor and Cashley Cole think why the Arsenal fans turned against them?? It’s quite obvious.Isn’t it? It’s not just about how you play for Arsenal it’s about how you conduct yourself and feel about Arsenal even after you leave.

Thierry Henry still acknowledges the fact that Arsenal made him a great player whereas Cole and Adebayor refuse to say that. I’ve never heard Henry talk about scoring 226 goals for us but all Adebayor can talk about is one 30 goal season.Players don’t realize that there’s more to football than just scoring goals. It’s about commitment, passion and attitude.I would still stand and applaud Henry but I don’t think…rather I am sure I wouldn’t do that for Adebayor and Cole.

So Cashley and Adebayor you can be sure of one thing…You’ll never be loved or missed at Arsenal.Cashley and Adebayor, you can now start thinking about your club..Forget Arsenal.

Some transfer talk before i sign off….Arsenal and Spurs are in the race for Klaas Huntelaar. Arsenal should sign him atleast for the sake of beating Spurs to the signature…..haha….Anyways i’d go crazy if indeed Wenger pulled this off. Klass is Class….there is no doubt about it. Talking of strikers, our very own Nikki B is in demand. Apparently Milan want to sign him after missing out on Fabiano,Adebayor and Dzeko. It’s ridiculous rumour thinking we just sold Ade and are not on the verge of buying any striker. Anyways I really expect Nikki B to step up and take Ade’s role. He might be the surprise package this season. Also Big Phil and Eboue are wanted by a number of clubs and i won’t be surprised if we lose one of them come September.

So thats it for now.

Have a nice day and Keep Gunning..!

Morning dose of Arsenal News

Goood Morning Gooners!!

I am in a good mood today after yesterday’s rant so you’ll not see Wenger bashing from me today. To start off with today’s Arsenal Dose…

Nasri is expected to be back earlier than expected. Always a pleasure to hear that but i’d still be cautious and not get too excited about it.  Again not much activity in the transfer market as far as Arsenal are concerned but i do expect a DM or even a CB coming in before September. I really hope its Cana. I’ve said alot about Cana in my earlier posts and i do think he could be the ideal man for us.He could be the experienced hardman in midfield we so badly need.Abou Diaby,Song or Denilson might step up and be counted this time but i hope we get in a DM.

In other news Ashley Cole is competing with Adebayor on who could be most hated by Arsenal supporters.Cashley Cole speaking about Manchester City said he hoped his friends at ManCity could finish above Arsenal..

It’s going to be hard for them but they could do it,”
“The players they’re buying are good and they might gel, click straight away and it’s
magic. But you can’t really say until we see them play.I hope they do because I have friends there.“I hope they do really well and finish above Arsenal.”

I say F*ck Off Ashley…Think about Chelsea and hope they can finish in the top 4 rather than thinking of Arsenal and Manchester City.

Also Huntelaar has turned down an offer from Stuttgart. Something for Wenger to think about?? I doubt it but again i would love to be surprised by Wenger.

Our very own Russian hero, Arshavin, has also been doing some talking lately..He thinks Arsenal are ready to shed the Youngsters tag and be counted. I agree with him.All our players have 2-3 year experience now and the youth reason can’t be used this season. Its Glory time at Arsenal this season… 🙂

Thats it for now…More to come today!!

Have a nice day and Keep Gunning…

‘Its not always Sunny at Arsenal’

July 22, 2009 6 comments

In my earlier post today I said I was frustrated about how things were going on at Arsenal and Wenger’s statements were not making me feel any better. So Wenger drops another bombshell.Another ridiculous statement from him now…

“Accidently he[Nasri] nicked the ball away from somebody who was just having a shot on goal. Unfortunately he got kicked and got a broken fibula. Not a complicated one but it will take six weeks to heal. The two options are Tomas Rosicky, and we’ll have Eduardo back in two months but you do not want to lose important players before the season starts.”

Okay so we lose Adebayor and Nasri in one week and we have a replacement coming after two months. Its making me think that Wenger has completely lost it. Yes,there’s been a lot of criticism about Wenger and his summer dealings but he’ll be absolutely murdered by critics if he doesn’t spend now. And hearing statements like the ‘kaka and Ronaldo’ one and this one today makes me wonder if Wenger is in the right frame of mind. Surely you can’t replace Ade and Nasri with a player coming back from injury after a year and a half and the other player not even on the verge of a comeback. It’s about time Wenger used his brains and money. Sure we have enough talent in the squad but we don’t have enough players now. Is he waiting till January to see if these set of players can do anything and only then buy someone on the last day??

Martin Keown said ‘Have faith in Wenger’. I did back in 1996…2004. Its diminishing now…..We are losing quality players and not replacing them.I feel he is concentrating too much on his youth project and ignoring the current situation.Even if he has his targets lined up why isn’t he making a move for them soon. Get them in and give them an opportunity to gel with the team before the season. Or is he thinking he has enough in his reserves to fill the void? I am not getting positive vibes from the Arsenal camp this season. It’s all falling apart and Wenger needs to react fast. Mr Wenger you will soon loose you ‘Professor’ tag and be labelled a ‘mad scientist’ if you don’t stop experimenting with players and actually buy some. We still trust you but that trust won’t last long unless you do something quickly.

Still long time for the tranfer window to close but its not ‘Sunny at Emirates’ this summer ( atleast as of now)!

Read this for some more  ‘Wenger -Do something’

Déjà vu ….Oh!!Would you please buy some players now…Wenger!!

Good Morning Gooners!

Let’s start brightly with the fact that Arsenal won yesterday’s friendly against SC Columbia.7-1. Ramsey,RVP,Bendtner scoring braces and Gallas chipping in with his bit. It would have been more flattering if we had won 27-0 like Villareal did the other day in their pre-season fixture. Still I am happy with the fact that Ramsey,RVP,Vermaelen,Nicky and Djourou got a nice 45 minutes under their belt. I’m a bit concerned about Almunia seeing his performance yesterday and even against Barnet FC. But I do believe he will come good once the season starts.Let’s hope he does because with him not in form and Fabianski injured we only have the young Italian Vito as back up.

Coming down to the sad news of yesterday. Samir Nasri got injured during training and will be out for 2-3months. Déjà vu ..Arsenal Fans….. RVP injured during international friendly, Theo dislocates shoulder during training, Rosicky out for 2 months (which ended up being a year and half), Eduardo out for 4 months etc. These headlines have now become quite familiar and we fans kind of expect it coming sometime or the other. (I wish I could just switch off my mind and t.v/laptop and resume only in August.)

I really feel sad about it though. Samir had a nice first season and seemed he would step it up a notch this season. A broken leg is what is being said about the injury which does rule him out till November. But our players do heal at snail’s pace so I’ll add another 2-3 weeks to that estimate. It’s not horrific as Eduardo’s but it’s still a setback for the guy, the team and the fans. So that’s our 1st injury of the new season. Unfortunately even before the season starts.

So What now for Wenger? What does he do? Is he going to come out and say we have players like Diaby,Arshavin,Theo,Vela,Eboue and Rosicky who can play in that position and so he’s relaxed about it? Or Is he going to say that when Nasri comes back in January he will be like a new signing and so he doesn’t need to spend now?

Just so that you know Mr Wenger, that playing players out of their main position and relying on Rosicky, who’s just kicked a ball after a year and a half, doesn’t sound very comforting for the fans. What is it with Wenger and his thinking that whatever he does is the best? It’s about time he realized that he needs to replace players when needed, not react after seeing his team do badly for half the season and then panicking in January. In one of my previous articles I said we are still 2 players short for challenging the likes of Chelsea,Liverpool and Man U. Now I think that number has gone up. There is something about injuries and Arsenal. It looks more like an Injury FC than Arsenal FC. Going by this, Wenger should have at least 3 players for each position. One main player for a position, one back up and another back up for the backup… I’m sounding crazy here but we need that if our players keep falling like 9 pins.

I say let’s forget about pre-season fixtures and training. Let’s bubble wrap Rosicky, Fabregas, RVP and Arshavin till our fixture against Everton. It won’t happen but it’s a crazy idea from a frustrated Arsenal fan. Also I am not too sure about how the injury was caused but reading a few comments on some websites it seems like a tackle from Diaby. I am not blaming the guy or something because I am not sure about it. Again I really wouldn’t bet against it. We all know what he did with John Terry and Wesley Sneijder. Anyways how Nasri got injured is still a mystery so I will give Diaby the benefit of the doubt. But I am not a fan of Diaby and he’s never looked like being the Patrick Viera of our team. He does perform well in pre-season like he has been doing for the past 2 years but when it comes down to the real deal he is either injured or plays rubbish. Apart from the goal against Liverpool in CL the season before, I really can’t think of anything he has done for us. I wouldn’t mind if he was sold. I’m sure the likes of Bolton or even a Rugby team would like to buy him. Sell him and use the cash.

Wake up Wenger, Wake Up!! It’s about time you spent some money…Else Arsenal will struggle for a top four finish.

Before I sign off, I wish Samir Nasri a speedy recovery. We’ll miss U Samir. Get Well Soon!

PS:I’m a bit frustrated today about the way things have been going on and also Wenger’s statements don’t make me feel any better.Lets hope  for some good news from Arsenal today!!
